TBIs can make life super annoying, but here’s an extra fun fact, it could also be the reason why you can’t keep your life organized. Which of course can lead to added anxiety and stress!
Lucky for you they have apps that can take you from a disorganized mess to a Demi-God of Organization and Tasking! Here are a few of the apps that I use to manage my life. The world can be filled with chaos and disorder, but you don't have to be.
Google Task will make sure you don’t forget any of your MUST DO tasks, the daily chores, and those random appointments your wife loves to set up for you.
Evernote - This is the “MacGyver” of note-taking apps. It allows you to set up multiple notebooks, record audio, even redirect emails to come directly to your Evernote app. But wait… There’s more…. You can set up a share plan so that you and your significant other can share documents and notes! The app even syncs with your Google Calendar app. What I think is the best feature though, is Evernote’s, Web Clipper. Simply install the extension to your preferred browser and you can easily import all the content you need for a project or research directly to Evernote.
Google Calendar App - If you’re not using a Calendar app to manage your daily schedule, you need to!! Trust me, after not using anything for the past 20 years I’ve recently switched to using this app and I love it! Especially since it's free! If you're serious about taking control of your life and bringing structure into your life, you should start by using a daily schedule app.
If bringing order to chaos is how you would describe your daily activities at work, then TRELLO is a must-have for you. If you’re a fan of Project Management tools ( Don’t you dare roll your eyes!) then TRELLO is the app for you! TRELLO lets you set up tracking systems for multiple projects. Trello allows you to create, plan, track and collaborate. At first, Trello can seem a bit plain. But the genius of this app is its simplicity. Simply start by making a board and then start adding lists for your necessary Subjects/ Categories/ projects. Then you can add cards. Each card represent a specific task, which can be customized to add due dates, attachments and even checklists.
Getting organized and learning how to manage your day to day life can seem like an impossible task, but trust me IT’S WORTH IT! Start by taking small steps, start by downloading one app and making a change today.
